What's a must do in Hollywood?
What's good in Santa Monica? Want to visit Venice beach, muscle beach etc.
3 days in New York. Where to start?
Hi this summer myself and my boyfriend are coming to America for the first time. We have 4 nights staying in Newport Beach so thinking of doing Huntington and Laguna beach also. What attractions should we visit? Where's nice to eat, drink and take in the whole experience?
Then we have 4 nights staying in Hollywood. Again what's a must do? Nice fast food, restaurants and bars?
Then our last stop in LA is 3 nights in Santa Monica. We are staying right near Venice beach. What must widow hilts in this area?
We have our hotels booked but any recommendations of what to see, places to visit, restaurants, bars etc would be a great help.
Oh we also don't drive so will be relying on uber and public transport so any help there would be grateful too.

Welcome to Travelblog! Both Los Angeles and New York are so large and varied that the best things depends mostly on your interests and tastes. I could list my favorite places in both cities and you could hate all of them. What are you most interested in?
A great method for gathering ideas is skimming blogs from the area. Hundreds of bloggers have written about LA and New York.
For transport, LA has a bus and subway system but its pretty bad. Plan on seeing things within walking distance or using Uber. New York has an extensive subway system that is safe as long as you stick to popular lines. Late at night, use taxis. If you just want a quick tour of highlights, both cities have many bus tours of varying quality.
