A blog is what you write about a day or more on a trip. A trip is a collection of blogs written about that trip. You don't have to list trips...this only helps direct someone to the collection of blogs which are listed under each trip.
What you want to do is start writing blogs. To do so, when you sign on you will first see your Control Panel page. The menu across the top lists Control Panel, Blogs, Profile and Setting, Social, and Utilities.
Click on Blogs and then Add Blog Post.
To create a blog you need to fill in this form with the Blog Title, Entry Date (use the date when the events being described in your blog occurred), Privacy (keep Public if at all possible), Continent/Country/Region/City, then in the box below write your blog. Once written click Save.
Then you can move on to Photos...the tab next to Add Text at the top. I never add videos or maps, but you can. Review is used to look at your results before you click on the Publish button.
To add photos, click on that tab. At the bottom of the Upload Photos section click on the Add Files button. Then go to your picture files on your computer and double click on each picture you want to add. Once you've listed the pictures, then click on Start Upload...this will take a few seconds or minutes depending upon the number of files being uploaded. Once they are uploaded the pictures will show up in the next section. You can rotate, add captions, or delete pictures by clicking on the icons at the corners of each picture. Once you are done with the photo edits, you click on Review on the menu at the top. This will show the first page of your saved blog. Once you are satisfied with the blog, click on Publish.
If you want to come back and edit a blog at any time, even after it is Published, go to the Blog on the menu at the top, and click on List Entries. All your blogs are listed with buttons on the left side of each for editing Text and Photos etc.. Click on whatever you want to edit and then make the changes; then click on Save or Review.
You probably should read other's blogs to get an idea of what others will see of your blogs. You can see mine by clicking on my name or picture in the circle of this response.
Got to go now, but I will be back to describe the bloggers page which is what you see when you click on my circle or the Travelblog icon at the top left corner of the Profile Page.
