Best way to take money into Argentina
8 years ago, December 16th 2014 No: 1 Msg: #187466
Hi there,

Can anyone confirm the maximum amount of money (US dollars) I'm physically allowed to take into Argentina when flying?

I am travelling there for a holiday and keen to take US dollars.

Is there a restriction on how much I'm allowed to take without having to declare it.

From the information I've found online it seems to be 10,000 USD. Is this correct?

Thanks,

Yes, $10,000 is correct. If you exchange the money in the blue market you have $15,000 spending money. Reply to this

$10,000 is a hell of a lot of money, but that depends on how long you want to stay. Check out my Buenos Aires blog for blue market tips. Enjoy Argentina..... Reply to this
