It's no secret round these parts that reading blogs from other TBers is one of the best ways to get travel ideas, tips and generally be inspired to go somewhere new.

Tell us about somewhere you've gone after reading a fellow TBers story, and if you've added an entry on the adventure yourself - even better.

All of the Bloggers inspire me!

Everytime I read a new blog I either add another place to the 'got to go there' list or learn something new or equally realise that we probably drove past something without knowing (sigh).

Thanks to a fellow blogger (can no longer remember who) we did find Gobekli Tepe, probably the oldest temple currently in the world and not one to miss.

The Oldest Temple in the World - probably! Reply to this

While in Copacabana, Bolivia, I spent about a week on the Isla del Sol (Island of the Sun). However, when I return, I'm going to go to the Isla de la Luna (Island of the Moon) on the recommendation of Tracey, saritrace. She said it was peaceful, they were the only ones in the little huts and there were lots of places to hike, including the other side of the island where there's a small village--sounded perfect. Our friends went to Burma
Buddhas, Pagodas and Monks!!
Photos of Myanmar

It made us want to go:
Burma's Beauty & Brilliance
Life and living on Inle Lake
Quakes, shakes and a plethora of pagodas

Our friends were the people who turned us on to travel blog.

Our recent trip to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan was inspired by The Travel Camel who did this trip 4 years ago. We've thought about it....percolated on it.... and finally took the leap.

Jeremy around the world was an inspiration about the same time.

Both have great blogs from this area. Reply to this
