What's the best accommodation comparison site?

So many to choose but want one with all types of lodging

I generally use Expedia, and have found some different offers on sites like Kayak in the past.

However, there are these new ones popping up that seem to have even more content. I was using Room77 which is a pretty nice site and offers a virtual concierge. Then I looked around at AllTheRooms, which actually seems to have hotels, vacation rentals like AirBNB, even hostels.

Anyway I'm curious what everyone else uses. I'm researching how I'm going to book stays on the fly as I travel across the country in December. Reply to this

There are lots, I think you could look them in Google. I would still prefer to check a few booking sites like Booking, Trivago, HotelClub and then would go with the best rates.

I loathe Expedia. They charged me twice for a flight once and it took 6 months of frustration and poor customer service before I saw my refund. It was not my mistake in anyway e.g. clicking twice.

I just tried to book a flight with them 2 hours ago and when I got to the checkout I discovered THEY DON'T ACCEPT VISA! Seriously, they only accept Maestro and Mastercard.

I use a combination of Trip Advisor and Agoda for hotels. I always check the reviews on Trip Advisor because Agoda is biased and does not accept all negative reviews. Trip Advisor compares the rates for different sites but they usually come out about even, with Agoda equalling the cheapest. Reply to this

Well, there are lot of accommodation comparison sites in the market and now there are plenty of hotel comparison and booking apps on Adroid as well as ios platform.

I would recommend you to use ixigo hotels app and hotel tonight app. I have been using them for a while now and it is really easy to navigate through these apps. Reply to this

There is a lot of online websites where you can comparison flight fares, accommodation, and holiday packages. I normally use expedia.com for my all types of booking and i always prefer to book complete package for my travel.
I use to compare prices between sites expedia.com, yatra.com and kayak.com, I always get the best offers from these sites Reply to this

There are so many sites to choose from that it can get so overwhelming so though when I am at home I will seek out a number of sites while I am travelling I use hotels.com and as a bonus I get a couple free nights stay every year.
