Next month I am going to Germany with my husband. I am 26 weeks pregnant. What would be best for me travel insurance or health insurance? I am not sure does German government provide health insurance for traveler? <snip> I am not sure what I have to do? Please someone help me.

Reply to this As far as I know there is no health insurance for travellers provided by the German government (the health insurance system here is pretty complicated). If you are an EU citizen, you can use the European health insurance card. Otherwise, you should make sure you have a travel (?) health insurance that covers Germany. If one lives in Germany - and travels abroad, one can take out an "International health insurance" ("Auslandsreisekrankenversicherung" :D ), but I do not know which insurances are offered in your home country).
I think the best is to take out some kind of international health insurance before travelling to Germany.

I have also notice that German government is not providing health insurance for traveler. Then i think about travel insurance. But i am not sure can travel insurance cover all the fields like health insurance. I discuss about it with one of my German Facebook friend. <snip> I already visit that site, but i think its not enough for me. Can you help me by providing more information about travel insurance or recommend me any source for information?
