Spending 5 months travelling to Antarctica and then in South America. Still thinking about what I want to get out of this blog...mainly to share with friends and family back home and to make impose some discipline on myself to make sure I record the highs and lows of travelling. Thank you very much. To be frank this is an unexpected and unlooked for honour, particularly given the number of fantastic photos to choose from.

I must have taken hundreds of photos during my four days walking around El Chalten, mostly of Mount Fitzroy. Cerro Torre was often wreathed in cloud or seemed to lend itself to more panoramic shots so I´m particularly chuffed with how this one has turned out.
