School postcard project

Looking for people around the world to mail postcards from their city/country or the city they're visiting to school kids.

My daughter is in Grade 5, and her class project is to collect postcards from around the world. They are counting on kind people to mail them a postcard from their city/region or the region they are visiting, with a little information written on the postcard about their region. They want to 'travel the world' with the help of the postcards; they will locate the city/country of each postcard & learn about that region. If anyone is interested in participating in this cool school project (the kids get to keep the postcards that came 'for them' at the end of the school year), please send them to :

Daphnée Chiasson
Sylvie Brooks' class
Anna-Malenfant school
Dieppe, NB, Canada
E1A 6V7

If anyone has any ideas on where else I could post to get people involved, please let me know! Every postcard will truly be greatly appreciated! Reply to this

Hi -

I have written a postcard to your daughter from Southern California. If there are any children in the class who aren't getting many cards, let me know and I will be happy to send a postcard to them as well.

Hi
I think this is a great idea. I already purchased some postcards that i have sent back home to Canada. (Sudbury, Ontario) i have a few to spare from RiZhao, Shandong. I will ask a few coworkers from England and the Phillipines see if they are willing to help. Reply to this
