Has anyone traveled overland on the Karakoram Highway from China into Pakistan recently?
11 years ago, September 13th 2012 No: 1 Msg: #160956
Next year I am planing a bike from London to Bangladesh and in order to get there I intend to go through Pakistan. Does anyone have any recent experience of crossing over from China to Pakistan on the Karakoram Highway? Is the border all open for business? Is it relatively safe? Also any tips on what to see along Highway would be gratefully received. Finally have any UK citizens had any recent experience of obtaining a visa for Pakistan, it looks to be a real pain. Any help would be great.

Cheers,
