In view of another historical event that happened on Mars today, I started thinking: We are all keen travellers around the globe, but would you take the plunge, or rather flight into space for a holiday. If so, why would you go and what do you think you could do in space/ on the moon/ or any other planet, that would be more special than what we have done and seen here on earth?
Reply to this Space is open for tourists....the ticket is just 20 millions USD...well....this is just put with a dose of humour....would I pass the physical and have a billion on my bank account...I would...but my Dad wasn't that good at school...or created fb...lol!
You can still go to space with 250,000usd with Sir Richard...but no way I'm paying that for 5 minutes full time zero gravity....even with the billion on the bank account....
Than there is zero gravity flight...did it...kind of an expensive ride...but that was THE ride....would do it again tomorrow....if a nice girl is ready to pay it for my birthday!
Reply to this I would go NOW!! I´m very interested in everything about space... If I´lll get the chance, I wouldn´t think about consequences or something else. Never! Even when I die 5 minutes after... It would be the greatest day in my life*.*

In response to: Msg #160851 It must be quite something to look at the earth from space, but then I think I would like to see more of our earth from up close after I have seen it from afar!
Reply to this Agreed, one of my bucket lists would be to one day see the whole earth from space, but not so much to see space. I once bid on the first edition print of the first picture taken of the whole earth at an auction, but lost out by far. Can't imagine anywhere in space to be very holiday like ! No beaches, spas, shopping, and local taxis to rip you off.
Reply to this i would like to go to the space too..
but i wanna travel from our galaxy to another galaxy..
that's would be awesome if i could see the entire universe
😉
Reply to this Absolutely!! I'm really hoping the cost of space tourism comes down as the private sector begins to offer more alternatives (SpaceX, etc.)... $250k is out of reach for me at the moment, lol.
