Why write a travel blog? Forget friends and family, write for yourself - when you get back and the memories start to fade... re-read your own blog! (Ali's Title not Cate's!)
Hi Ali- I was able to download my blog. Thanks for that feature. I have to admit... there is no blog like the blog reflects your own experieces, first hand! Therefore, I must say that "cate and cam" is still my favorite blog. I still love to go back and read it over and re-live the experience. I am already planning my next adventure... I will keep ypu posted.
Reply to this Totally agree - the best blog is your own - it just brings back the memories tenfold. Kicking myself for getting out of date with mine. New years resolution - catch up and become a regular blogger again.
Reply to this Hrmm... I LOVE reading my prior blogs, travel or personal. I just thought it was me stroking my ego, but I guess I'm not the only one who enjoys reading about myself! heheh
Reply to this Every time I read our blog, I am instantly brought back to our travels. I read the blogs and find myself laughing at the same thing I laughed at the last time I read it. Isn't it interesting how we find ourselves so much more witty that others find us?
Reply to this Lets drudge this one up... re-reading old blogs, and getting great enjoyment out of it? And as Cate & Cam said, do you find yourself funnier than others do? lol! :-D

We re-read our blogs from time to time. Often times we do it on the anniversary of one of our trips. Dave will say-- do you know where we were three years ago today---- do you know where we were seven years ago today?
Re-reading them keeps the trip and pleasant memories in our mind. Plus, I think trying to remember the dates is a good exercise for your mind and helps ward off alzheimers.
Yes, I'm certain we think we are funnier than other people do------and that is ok.
Reply to this I love re reading our blogs. It brings back great memories and helps keep things fresh!
Regardless of the quality of the writing or the photos, they bring back very personal memories.
