we haven't posted for a while but after receiving the required number of nominations each following blog that we published appeared on the travelblog home page - until other recommended blogers posts knocked it off?
If it has changed what is the new criteria?
Thanks
Reply to this The change was announced in this forum:
Front Page - raising a few of the requirements.
In summary it is now five recommends, 500 words and four photos.
Looking at your profile and blogs they would certainly qualify - but there is a caveat. A blog is considered current if a photo has been uploaded to it within the past few days (from three to seven - am not sure which). Thus if you upload your photos early, and don't publish the blog for another week it will not be considered current and appear on the front page.
If this does not explain your situation then please let me know and we'll see what has happened to your status.
Reply to this thanks for clarifying - I did load the photos in advnace of writing - however the blog if now on the front page - so maybe it just took a bit of time to get through the system.
Reply to this Caching - I've been caught by that one as well! Can take up to half an hour for it to appear there.
As a rule, I usually load my images 1-2 days in advance of publishing to ensure they work there way through the system (these can take more than an hour at times) - so I'm uploading photos now for publishing within 36 hours.
Glad the situation is resolved.
