Thanks for your nominatiion. A picture of Zane from Cape Town, S Africa
I met Zane and his lovely new wife Lisa whilst stepping out of the bus at Calama for a cigarette. They are on a round the world for a year honeymoon. They were on the way to San Pedro de Atacama as was I.
With their friend Santiago, from Columbia, we found a hostel and settled in.
We decided to take the Salar de Uyuni tour.
The night before the Salar trip we visited the extreme/happy pub in Uyuni for inspiration following a recommendation from people who had just come back from the salt flats but wished they had been to the pub first.
We took with us various objects, Tequila bottle and lime, playing cards etc . The dinosuar was bought by Xavier, a french guy on the 4x4 tour with us.
Much lying on the ground and lining up the image later managed to get this shot.
My friends remained in Bolivia. I returned to Chile to continue my travels north. Currently in Iquqiue for the Paragliding and beach life. Great place. might just hang a while here.

I can't help but wonder at some of the great props people bring to Salar de Uyuni. A gigantic plastic dinosaur and playing cards are some of the best yet. Great photo. 😊 Reply to this
