As the great John Lennon once said - "Life Begins at 40"! But, erm.... sadly for him it didn't. Sorry. Reply to this

I am 35 married with a 17 month old son and I am going to visit europe with them. 😊

I need a advise from you guys.

I am from Toronto, Canada.

First, I 'd like to go to London(london, because my cusion lives there i want to visit him), Germany, Denmark and Norway. What would be the best way to go. I browse the europass website. Is this the best way to go? any one can give me any best and cheapest way? where to stay during visit to those countries?

Any suggestions as to what places to visit in those countries. Specially in Norway? I want to see midnight sun rise. i saw the pics on web. it is so cool.

Any suggestions, cautions etc.
Please advise. Will appreciate.

29 years old? Yes, unfortunately that is too old to start traveling. You will have to spend the rest of your life close to home, which really isn't that bad with all the great TV shows and video games now available! You could, however, take short trips to the beach, or Las Vegas. Reply to this

It has nothing to do with age, it is your state of mind.
If you want to and you can afford it- do it.
I am 63 and traveling 4-5 months every summer since 2002 with a trailer in North America, I wish I was in your age so I would have many more years to do what I want to do.
Don't look back go for it. Reply to this

29 too old!
i have seen people travelling around the world...at age of 60... i met so many ladies aged 50-60 besides the young crowd to all the travel locations....i am confused to define whether it is possible to define time to travel in terms of age as parameter! u just need to have passion to travel!

dont stop travelling till u reach end of earth! Reply to this

Hey Vicki

Dont listen to that crap, I get it all the time.

I never set foot on a plane till I was 29, now I have backpacked through nearly 60 countries.

I always say, I wish I had started younger but you get less out of the experience when you are drunk all the time, wait till you hit your thirties it just gets better and better

Cheers

You are never too old nor too young to travel. I'm 21 and my parents worry a lot about when I do start to travel either on my own (apart from being with friends) or out of the countr. Then again, perhaps it is because I'm female? Who knows. The point is, it's just like my parents say, certain types of traveling you should do while you're young and are able to move around extremely well because when you get old most of the time people can't move around quite as well anymore. Lol, unless you become lucky like some of the much older people and are stronger than the young people! Travel. Don't let something silly as age stop you. Live life. You only get one chance to live this life, so do it while you can. I hope you have fun with whatever you choose and be healthy! No matter how young or old you are you can travel. It's not as though you're a 30 year old trying to dress like 16 year old if you catch my meaning. Stay safe!

I'm 27 and my boyfriend is 33, we spent June through December of 2006 traveling around the world. There's always a reason not to go. You just have to do it. Life will work itself out, like so many people on this post have been saying. You have a responsibility to yourself to create your own opportunities. go go go go go! Reply to this

Well, Vicky, I think 29 IS too old to start traveling. 25, 26, Sure. But 29? I am sure there are a lot more responsible things you could be doing with your time. All the best. Reply to this

29 is definitely not too old to travel. You're never to old to pursue your dreams. I have learned through observation, that a lot of people will try to knock your ideas down, because they are afraid to step outside their comfort zone...afraid of the unknown...or they just don't want to see someone succeed or surpass their own current state. The only way to grow, is to take a chance, take that next step, and do it! If you don't, you may live a life of regret..always wondering "what if?" You never know what will happen until you try. Better to take a chance, and grow from the experience, than to sit, stagnate, and always wonder. So get to it, and do it...don't let anyone else tell you otherwise. Reply to this
