LITTLE MILTON

I once had my car stolen...was found days later by the Police...abandoned after it had run out of petrol.

My case of Blues cassettes...that I had laboriously taped over the years...was gone.

But...left on the back seat ...probably stolen for a gift for me...a Little Milton CD "CASINO BLUES"...best Little Milton I have heard!!!

Can't find a video of that one...but brilliant Slow Blues...hear every note

Cindy...with Buddy & Bonnie...has a nice ring to it.

Welcome to the World Music Forum...one hell of a good gig in my humble opinion.

Did you see Buddy Guy recently with Jonny Lang?

I'll find a special Bonnie Raitt for you...seen her with Tony Joe White & with Jackson Browne...she has excellent rapport with the audience...watch this space. Reply to this

I was wrapped to see you put Dave Hole up there Dave, we used to be his roadies LOL...a lot of good bands came out of Perth in those days..

I saw Buddy a few months ago at Freo Blues and Roots fest along with the uber awesome Mr J Fogarty...no one spits out rage like he does.

I think we may have very similar tastes in music...i was listening to Jackson Browne doing Stay when I opened this thread 😊

Love Tony Joe Whites woman with soul. Reply to this

I never got to see Zappa but I have one of his quotes on the case of my sax -
If you wind up with a boring, miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest, or some guy on TV telling you how to do your shit, then YOU DESERVE IT - Frank Zappa
And this one on the door to my computer lab at work - The computer can't tell you the emotional story. It can give you the exact mathematical design, but what's missing is the eyebrows.
(never trust anything without Eyebrows)...

Just cant top Zappa but im listening to a Lady I had the pleasure of jamming with after her concert in Perth mid 90s..sublime voice.

And still in a R & B vibe - I LOVE this clip -

And just one more and I promise I will stop...Aussie Classic and also a wonderful person - Richie is touring shortly revisiting the whole Goodbye Tiger album - def going to that one..he must be sick of my face in the crowd after all these years...and no, im not that old, I just hung around musicians for a lot of years 😉
