Tip when planning your travels!

Hi there

I\'m planning a trip to Asia for next year so i can see the Chinese new year celebrations! i am using several sites to look for accommodation where i\'m going to stay and i discovered by accident that if you put the name of your chosen hotel/hostel into \"You tube\" you can see videos that other people have posted!! it became obvious that some websites use air brushed photos, but the videos give you a much better idea of what the place is like... Good or bad! Reply to this

most the time its when people have had bad experience in the hotel and they video it and post it!! but there are some good ones as well, it just gives you a better idea of the place then just pics. when i travel next year ill be visiting 8 cities and this has helped me decide on places to stay, and changed my mind on 2 of them!! This sounds like a great idea. I had only planned on booking hostels from forum reviews on various sites and ones that were lonely planet recommended but videos of the places will be even better.
