I am currently blogging about this trip, so I'll try to withhold any major spoilers, but...
My most recent trip to Indonesia was a 3-week epic journey spanning from Northern Sumatra to Bali and the Gili Islands over the holidays. Without a doubt the climax was spending New Year's Eve and the last few seconds of 2011 on a beach in Gili Trawangan, dancing to pounding club music and watching numerous fireworks pop over the islands of Gili T, Gili Meno, Gili Air, and Lombok. I'll remember that night forever.
Reply to this Definitely my recent trip to Bhutan, for its pristine beauty, culture and tradition. Highlight of that trip would have to be the climb to Tiger's Nest Monastery.
