Kentucky Fried Chicken

Dave and I are often surprised how many Kentucky Fried Chicken establishments we have seen around the world. Seems like they are every where.

We'd like to know where you have seen them....and maybe a photo. We are trying to find the most obscure places they might be located..... but we'd like to know about all the locations you have seen them in. Reply to this

The outside of the local KFC here turned black during the rugby world cup - in support of the All Blacks :-)
Not sure if it has reverted back to the usual red yet. Reply to this

Would love to see a photo of a KFC with black on its signage instead of red. Reply to this

That truly is an arresting piece of marketing. Possibly the first time KFC have changed to black anywhere in the world. Thanks so much for sharing these photos Jo! Reply to this

Yes, simple but very effective - nothing more than changing the colour - but in AB territory during the world cup you hardly need more :-)

Maybe I'll add these to the upcoming 'black themed' blog entry......

There are a lot of KFC's in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Granted, it's not exactly the same as in the US considering differences in local cuisine, but it was still really good. I don't have any pictures but here's a link to the Malaysian KFC site. KFC Malaysia

I dont have any exciting locations to add but agree 100%, there always seems to be a kfc all over the place. More impressively than the mcdonalds in pisa 😊 I really seem to notice kfc's in asia...like bali and phuket. I remember seeing one on a little stand like a side cart in kota kinabalu which seemed so strange and possibly not a 'real' one lol! I have gotten sick from kfc in australia so havent got the courage to try them in asian countries as yet... although i do love my kfc 😊) Reply to this
