Best Schools to teach at...

I am looking for anyone who has either taught or is researching teaching english in south america

Hey gang,

I am back in the states working and saving for my next adventure early 2012 and also getting my TEFL, I wanted to see what your experiences are teaching in South America were/are, Info on good schools would be helpful! also any info on websites, compensation, conditions etc etc would be great!

Hello

In general, South America does not pay teachers well. You will have enough to live on but not save very much. If this is fine for you, you can find job adverts on TEFL and Eslcafe
Eslcafe also has forums for each country where teachers who are there can give you advice.

You can also find stories of people teaching in South America by searching the South America travel blogs . This is the link to a friend of ours who teaches in Argentina.
