Some international flights into and out of Perth Western Australia are currently suspended along with many domestic flights across the country due to a band of volcanic ash over the country at around 15000 feet. Flights To/From Tasmania and NZ are cancelled and have been for a few days, Melbourne Airport flights are at this point in time going ahead other than those from Perth - probably a good idea to check your airline website if you are flying into or out of the southern Australian states in the next few days.
