I was reminicing over a few pics the other day and it occured to me that some of the local people I met during my travels probably featured in other peoples trips.

The first person I was thinking of fondly was a lady called Sopa or Kip as she likes to be known in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She runs a smoothie stall in the market by Little Bird Guest House/MD House at Thai Phae Gate.

She's an absolute delight and always offers a friendly smile and a chat. Everyone I met in Chiang Mai had either been to see her or was going to. She makes the best fresh smoothies for about 30THB.

I also have a soft spot for her because she introduced me to Melissa by inviting us out to a Thai BBQ and I will always be grateful for that.

Did you meet Sopa during your time in Chiang Mai or is there someone else you met in another country who you think other people would remember well?

Mickie taught our Thai cooking class and he brings back many pleasant memories. He made a real impression on us.

Sometimes at the time of traveling it happens that we met such persons all around the world we have already met. Sometimes we discover same kind of attitude of persons we have already seen. Thatโ€™s why it is being said that world is round. Reply to this
