Happy Birthday TravelBlog!

We have a series of events planned this week - announcing new Hall of Fame members - soon.

But until the next post - thanks to everyone who has posted on travelblog, shared with their friends, joined our community and made this site the pleasure it is to continue to work on nearly ten years on :-)

First of our birthday stats:

March 17th 2002 - I registed travelblog.org for the new site I was planning - it was going to be "travel-blog.com" but I preferred the .org (travelblog.com was already registered - but .org is what we're about anyway)

April 4th 2002 - I made my account.

April 5th 2002 - first blog added...

From these really small beginnings travelblog.org was born.
