Do you have what it takes to snatch the 'Food Meister' title? (Warning: this game may cause a period of procrastination!)

That's a star apple! (caimito)

I hope I'm correct this time around so I can go back to what I'm working on.
I keep getting distracted because I want to guess it correctly. Competitive, haha!

(P.S. Sorry Jason, it looks like you're off your game and won't be holding the Food Meister title after all 😉. Have fun guys. Catch you later !)

Incredible, another title snatch!

You can't turn your back for five minutes in this game.

There was me getting my son ready for bed, I log back in, a new mystery fruit has not only appeared but been GUESSED!

Ah well, good job we've got one more on the go.

I'm thinking some kind of plum with that one (mainly due to the skin texture and the way it has marked).

Is it?

I've missed a whole couple of games today!!

Who's the current 'Food Meister' - is it Hana? Your turn to try and confuse us 😊

p.s. time for a new summary on this thread I think ;-)

Nope - not Jatropha.

Each one is about 3-5" (7-15 cm) long and about 1.5-2" wide (3-7cm) in the photo, although they can be slightly larger.

Finally did it!

Okay, I'm trying to add the picture of my mystery food but the code messes up. How is it done?

@Stephanie, are those fruits or vegetables? Reply to this

Either Giant Granadilla or some kind of Sapote? Reply to this

You have to wait about an hour to post the picture Hana due to some time delay "cache" thingy...

I'm sure Stephanie knows more about this than me - she's not just a food scholar whose about to lose her title, you know;-) Reply to this

Here's my contribution: what's in the dish on the right (the dish with yellow in the center and bluish-brownish things around the yellow thing)? Actually, props to anyone who names anything in this photo, but especially that dish.

They are fruits - and not granadillas or sapotes either! But you're getting closer (-ish. somewhat), at least as far as geographic origin is concerned...

Phhff. Lose my title indeed. I don't see you earning it back with any brilliant guesses of my latest submission. 😉

Hana - if you want to post a photo copy/past the code beneath the photo that says . Any delay is likely due to the recent makeover the site has gotten. Reply to this

Another title snatch in the pipeline 😊

@ Sam - do you have a closeup photo of that dish? Could just enlarge that photo, but I'm preparing excuses here ;-)

Stephanie, are those feijoa? Looks like a small variety of mango to me, though.

Sam, I don't know the dish but I think the stuffs surrounding the yellow one are century eggs. Am I right?

And the title goes to Hana! They are century eggs. I'm not actually sure what is in the middle. Here is a closer look:

Ok, having a morning office break 😄 , so I'm gonna have a crack at Stephanie's mystery food.

I'd say green papaya or gourd ?
