Is there a favorite blogger whose journals you miss?

Some of the bloggers who are missed are still logging in, or have at least logged in recently. Looks like they are doing something here on TravelBlog, even if they dont have blog material to post at the moment. 😊

I will only send emails to ones who have not logged in at all for a while, to let them know they are missed. Reply to this

Cumberland Sausage and PostcardJunkie used to provide some of the best travel writing out there in my opinion and it's a great shame they're no longer writing on Travelblog

How can I forget? I do miss the writings of Stuart, who must be real busy teaching (he's now Director of the School, I think) somewhere in Indonesia. Hey, Stuart---- get back in here and spend those weekends there traveling and blogging again. ;-) Reply to this

Dave Donohue where are you? The story of the hat from Sapa Dave always traveled to wonderful lands and had a fantastic writing style, thoughtful and sensitive along with some great photos! wheresdave

I'm still patiently waiting for the last two months of the epic Occasionally Bob overland world tour . . .

Bob was an early inspiration for me to fine tune my writing into something readable.

Hia! Thanks for the message Mell! Sorry I haven't been about for a while. Have gotten so wrapped up things and time is flying! I never did finish my blogs about France but as I also stopped keeping a diary I can't remember many details about that now.

I DIDN'T return to Australia. I am currently living in Milton Keynes in England of all places! Intended to be here 3 months and have been here nearly a year and a half and loving it. :D I think perhaps it's time I write a blog about my experiences over here. And I did spend 4 days in Amsterdam with a friend as well so shall write one for that too.

Thanks so much for reminding me about this wonderful site. I did always have fun on here! :D *hugs to all* Reply to this

Hi Snap Shot Stacey. Glad to hear from you. We're all looking forward to your writing again. It's always another perspective having someone write from "home base". Cheers.

Hi folks,

Thanks to those of you who mentioned my blog (PostcardJunkie) as one they'd missed in the Travelblog universe. For those who are interested, I picked up more or less where I left off here with a Wordpress blog: Postcardjunky.wordpress.com. As much as I enjoyed being part of this site, I just found Wordpress to be a bit more nimble from a design perspective. Hope you'll all join me there.

And thanks to Mell for letting me know about this thread!

Cheers,
Chris

TravelBlog is soon going to have a new design. If you come back some time in the near future, things here will be looking very different. There isnt an exact date for it yet though.

Hope you'll all join me there.

Well, I hope everybody will stay here with us. 😊

Ah yes I liked Sasha, some very interesting destinations he went to. le_flow was always good, as was Bedreddin and most other bloggers mentioned by everybody else. Oh and of course 2Brothers3Continents, but I am biased as I got them on travelblog in the first place. I happen to know both are married now and at least one has a baby daughter, but travel is on their mind, so maybe one day they will return. Again sorry for not linking the names, I am having trouble even getting the keyboard to switch to English characters (it keeps flipping back to Chinese!!)

I've changed the formatting in Chris and Ralf's posts to make the links easier to follow - and they're certainly worth following! Reply to this
