I'm planning to go to Tagaytay in the end of March. Can anyone tell me the best travel option to get from Manila(ermita) to Tagaytay? Also would like to know what hotels have the best view of the taal volcanoe? Thanks in advance. Reply to this

You can also try Club Balai Isabel...

You can also check these <snip>, they are located near Lake Taal, so you can have more choices to choose from..😊

There are a number of hotels lining the ridge with a view of Taal Volcano. Among them are Taal Vista Lodge, Residence Inn, Discovery's Country Suites, Club Estancia, and I believe there are new boutique hotels now. They do come with a price. But just "across" the road from these hotels lining the Ridge are cheaper inns where u can rent a room, and enjoy the view while doing your morning stroll. From Manila, there is a bus (Saulog Transit) plying from Manila to Tagaytay City. These buses drive by the length of Roxas Boulevard, make stops in Baclaran along the same boulevard, among others. I am not sure, but I think there is a mini-bus terminal in Mall of Asia where you can take a jeepney or mini-van to Tagaytay. Reply to this

Since you will be in Manila in the Ermita area, stop in the G Point Pub on Padre Faura. They used to have trips to Tagaytay a few years ago. I think they also have a connection for hotels and maybe transportation. One advertising poster I remember was in the men's room over the urinal! Hard to miss that seeing that advertisement!

The G Point also books hotel rooms in the Ermita area for you. They might also be able to book a place for you in Tagaytay too.

Have fun!

Days Hotel and Taal Vista are two of the best. Take a meter taxi from where you're staying to Pasay as there's lots of buses in there with signboards headed to Tagaytay. Reply to this
