I haven't seen a lot of my own home country (USA), so in Spring 2011 I'll be trying to see some major sights in the US that I've never seen. (tired of getting teased by Europeans who have seen NY and not me!! 😊 )
USA sightseeing plans:
Washington DC
New York City
maybe LA
and a few different road trips here and there too (Florida, South Carolina, Indiana, Ohio, and maybe a few more)
Plan for next year:
Barcelona, Spain
Paris, France
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Belgium
Italy
maybe the UK
and hopefully revisit China!! (if i can afford it!) need to see Tibet!

Reply to this Frequent trips throughout the US, Mexico and hopefully Africa later in the year.
Reply to this I'm soooo jealous!!, I don't think we will be leaving the UK much this year, other that to go to 3 weddings (yes, 3!!): 2 in Germany and 1 in Spain... maybe I'll convince Dax to go to Scotland, as we've been living in the UK for more than 8 years, but haven't been there yet! ;o)
Reply to this This 2011, I promised myself I'd do more trips within the country. There are some beautiful towns and villages I long to visit and revisit. Heritage houses. Old churches. Beaches and resort towns. Plus I plan to visit Bhutan late this year. Maybe India too, depending on the budget ;-)
Reply to this Great thread and one I can actually add to (seeing as I ve been a jealous on looker for so long) we're going to average about 34 countries this year, but up there on my excite list is Nepal, Ireland and the Phillipines 😊
Reply to this We get to finish up here in Indonesia, then visit our parents in Germany and Spain on the way home. After that? Mostly not much unfortunately, mostly due to heavy debt!! Gonna be studying, working. Sure we'll do some exploring, but like Deni and Dax, notr gonna be too far from England.
Reply to this USA: San Diego, New Orleans, Boston, Washington D.C.
Canada: Toronto, Prince Edward Island
Europe: France
(so far...)

Reply to this So far I have done England (where we live!), Germany (on business) and planning a trip to Jamaica (again! probably my favourite place on earth) and we have a voucher for two free nights in a great hotel in Prague so may do that for Xmas.
After a 6 month RTW in 2010, 2011 is about prudency so that 2012 and beyond can be more spectacular!
