2 weeks is not that long. Northern Europe is quite miserable this time of the year. Suggestion is Athens with its ancient temples and vibrant night life. Rome which has lot's to offer, Roman archaeology, beautiful churches, renaissance architecture. Barcelona is very popular and has the old city and modern architecture and art to offer. You could fly between these places at decent prices at this time of the year, or use ferry Greece-Italy and then train, but I am not sure it comes out any cheaper. 3 days in each city is a good idea, to get more of a feeling for the place. If you are short of money you could restrict yourself to Italy, Rome, Naples with Pompeii, Florence and Venice will keep you busy. Travel by train between these cities. If you want to go to Northern Europe you could combine London and Paris (via train) which have lot's to offer. They are quite expensive cities though. Reply to this
