This Volunteer work, is it truly Volunteer, or do you expect us to pay to come and help? Reply to this

Though he didn't post it here, I've gotten a reply back from Intern, and felt it should be public:

BEGIN PASTE
Happy New year am responding to your question/ comment.any way volunteer pay a administrative fee which includes his food and accommodation and alos the is a donation which internkenya must contribute to the project/school where he is attached to.

Please visit gap year volunteer program and you will see that its compulsory for a fee to ensure smooth and successionof the voluteer project .. anyway have a good time and bet in your endeveours
END PASTE

Intern, interns get paid a stipend. Volunteers donate their time and talents. Usually donations come from people who care but cannot donate their time and skills directly, and such cash donations may help keep the program afloat or, as you say, @ensure smooth and succession." Asking people to pay AND contribute and the rest is at least a bit much. I know other places try it, I've seen it, but they earn contempt as well, for coming off like yet another African program that really just wants another way to collect money from the Blancs. I'd heartily recommend that you learn to acquire cashflow in a different fashion, if you're truly interested in quality people to provide their expertise.

Regards,
