I'm a 26 year old single female from Alaska looking for my first vacation.
I can't figure out where to go. Hawaii, Thailand, Belize, Mexico. I would love to combine some history with amazing scenery and safe. I have about two or so weeks, 5-7K budget, and would like to go around the end of December or January 2011. I would like to travel outside the US, but that isn't major.
I would like to somewhere that will allow for several activities, like skydiving and scuba.
Any ideas????
Reply to this Try Greece. Europe is full of history no matter where you go you will encounter history.
I have visited Spain, France, and England and absolutely loved the architecture and history behind it.
My next tour is Greece and I can't wait because I also like history and of course Greece has tons of history.
Also, joining tours are great for single travelers and safer because you travel in larger groups. Plus its a great opportunity to meet new people.
