My spouse Debra and I only just started using Travelblog but already we see it as THE WAY we will stay connected to all our family and friends. We are embarking on a 3-4 year time away from our home in Florida and living in Northern Italy. Our plan is to take advantage of TB to be our link to all those we love. So, far we have been amazed by the versatility of functions available and the ease of use on the site. So, far we can't say enough by way of accolade and we highly recommend TB for anyone on travel away from home base as a tourist or an ex-patriot!!

Ciao,
Gary and Debra Palmer

travelblog is not only a way to keep in touch with the friends back home but we also use it as a way to remember our experiences over the years. We have made our "trips" into books so when we need to get away we just pick up our blogbook and go back in time..
We also use travelblog to plan our future trips. reading blogs of other travelers have made our trips that much more exciting..

I've been on extended holidays to Asia on several occasions, and have used Travelblog.org to help research potential destinations. The wealth of information and the ease of use makes Travelblog the ideal starting point for your travels. Obviously when we went away for a longer period, it was only fair to give back. Also, we're loving the new design guys! It's a much needed refresh to a technically impressive website! Reply to this

I learned about Travelblog in National Geographic's Traveler magazine. I thought it was a great way of documenting my trips. Friends would use other sites to upload all their pictures from their trips, but without a story to accompany them I didn't know what I was looking at. i tell them that they should start a Travelblog.

Once I started using Travelblog, when I would return from a trip friends would want to know all about it. I would tell them to look at my Travelblog. Now they follow along as I am on a trip.

Then I used Travelblog to plan trips, getting honest information and advice from fellow travelers...and those who are part of the Travelblog family are so friendly and responsive.

Now I am in the process of using Travelblog to document all my trips since childhood so that I can use the blog to book feature to publish one copy to leave to my kids.

I read Travelblog every day to see what is new...especially from those who I have subscribed to. It's wonderful to have found a group of people that share my passion.

"So much better than postcards"

We are an Australian couple who love to travel. We backpacked around the world in 2002 and had a website running so that our family and friends could see what we were up to.
When we set off again in 2007 we had discovered the Travel Blog site and as this was so much easier to use than a website, when on the move, we adopted this.

We now have over 60 people who are subscribed, and now and then get emails from other people who make comment on what we have experienced.

This site is fantastic, easy to use, and it is so good to be able to record what you have done in different places. We often refer back to it when the question comes up "Do you remember when.......?" Reply to this
