Travelblog allows us to keep in touch with those at home, share our pictures and stories, but most of all it serves as a depository for our own memories so that our time travelling will always be available to us at a simple click of a button or by taking the planned blog to book down from the shelf to reminisce.

Reply to this As it says in my profile: I’d bragged, I’d blagged, but never before had I blogged - until I discovered TravelBlog!
The fifth anniversary of my first ever blog now approaches. Looking back on my tales in these annals, I wonder why I'd never put fingers to keyboard before. I'd always enjoyed writing and photography, even during the thirty years I spent in the travel industry visiting the globe at someone else's expense. Maybe I didn't have the time then to create blogs (even had they existed!). Maybe I didn't need then to touch the minds and hearts of family and friends while I was away. Maybe technology wasn't on my side in the early days. Maybe I thought I'd remember the detail of all those places, faces, foods, architecture, scenery, experiences and adventures. Maybe, now in the autumn of my years, those memories begin to fade...
So, thank you TravelBlog for helping me, my family and my friends to remember good times - or, at least, the good times of the past five years!
Keep smiling!

Reply to this I started using Travelblog as a way to chronicle the time, life, and adventures I had while living in Nicaragua for almost two years. To tell the many stories that have stayed with me and share the travel information that I thought might help others traveling in that area. It was my way of inspiring myself and others to get out there and see the world.
Travelblog has done all of this for me and so much more. I have become part of a community of people like me...travel lovers...passionate wanderers, never lost. I have had a chance to practice my other love...writing. Seeing that many have read my stories inspires me to write more. Connecting with readers who have enjoyed my adventures and left comments is exciting and exhilarating.
Having travel information about any destination in the world, at anytime I need it, written by people who have been there and may actually still be there at the moment, is amazing!!
Thank you Travelblog for a fabulous site!!!

Reply to this To travel is to grow - to experience, enjoy and learn from places and people.
To write is to enhance ones life - to find the inner being.
The joy of reading and re-reading a record of ones' travels - and to share those of others, comes from a daily scan of Travelblog; a constant source of inspiration, driving that powerful lust for travel and learning.
Travelblog is part of our lives now; fulfilling our desire to write and record our travels, sharing these experiences with family, friends and travelbloggers everywhere.

Reply to this Since I am new in this site I enjoy a lot reading their testimonials and experiences. As I start reading, I motivated to finished all the blogs. I gain a lot of information that can help me in my teaching job and sharing ideas to all my students and co workers as well as my classmates in my MAED class.
Reply to this Using travelblog is the only way we share our travel trips to our family and friends. It is an easy to use site with all the things you need to write a great blog and adding pictures and videos are a breeze. All we do when we have updated a blog is post it on our facebook pages and also send the link to our subscribers which make it very easy.
The travel forum is great to get ideas about destinations plus many other topics that arise including visas, tours etc
We love to read through other people’s blogs and be amazed by the quality of writing and photos that is posted up on here. It really inspires us to travel more when reading through people blogs and we are going to keep doing this for quite some time yet.
Thanks to the moderators who are always busy on here keeping everything in check, you do a fantastic job and are much appreciated.

Reply to this TravelBlog - You guys rock.
I'm not a writer by any stretch of the imagination, but chose use your service more as a memory jogger when I got home. Obviously the automatic emails kinda reduced that requirement. Nevertheless, having said that - I have received numerous comments from friends and colleague commenting that is just like going on the trip with us.
I love the service and will certainly continue to use it in the future.
Thanks Heaps guys.
Reply to this We found and started using Travelblog.org several years ago when we bought our first RV. I am able to memorialize our trips not only in words but also with photos.
Travelblog.org is one of the few sites I visit almost every single day. I get excited when I check the stats page and see there are people out there that enjoy reading my blogs.
As one of the previous writers indicated, I am by no means a "writer", but with the help of Travelblog.org, I am able to take my time and work on my blogs at my convenience. It may take me 9 months to write, add photos, edit and proof a blog, but once it is done, we have it forever.
Travelblog is the ONLY site we are using to chronicle our journals and blogs. The site is safe and secure and I feel confident that our blogs will be there for a long time to come.
Sometimes I need to add a location that has not been previously listed and the moderators are so fast it is a pleasure to use this site.
Had Travelblog.org not been as easy to navigate, I doubt I would have ever started to keep track of our travels, and all of our memories would slowly fade together.
Thank you Travelblog.org, we LOVE you!!!!!!!!!
Reply to this Saving grace, so many times my only surviving records are here! I lose files, pix and computers even.
The anonyminity of the notification emails saves my shy, aspiring writer's arse!
I have a number of friends who can't do what I do but can live their dreams vicariously thru my ramblings.
Absolute strangers respond to my blog from time to time telling me how my words have struck a chord or brought back memories for them, truly humbling, altho' I suspect they may be as mad as me!
I have personally put many people onto this fabulous service, if this brings more then good on ya!

Reply to this Life is more about the journey than the destination.
Travelblog plots thousands of those journeys from real people in the real world.

Reply to this As a newcomer to this blog, I have found it simple to use and I have had so much fun reliving my travel adventures! This also gives me an excuse to sort through all of my photos and pick a few to illustrate stories. And now I have a record of all the wonderful adventures I've already had, and it makes me realize how worthwhile travel really is. Thanks so much!

Reply to this Travelblog.Org is a great way for family and friends to keep up with your adventures. The Facebook link makes it easy for everyone to find your blog. Thank You guys
Reply to this Travel blog is a great way for family and pals to keep up with your wanderings, Its also fabulous for keeping a well laid out record for my own use, kinda like a diary which is great since I keep losing my hand written diaries.
I find it invaluable for travel research, other peoples opinions, good and bad are a great way to learn about a place and gives you a "feel" for somewhere even before you arrive.
Travelblog is a lovely way to spend a few hours by just reading other people's adventures and enjoying complete strangers take on the world.
Cheers lads

Reply to this It's been over five years since I first signed up for travelblog.org - I use it for many different aspects related to travel, but especially to document my experiences. This isn't just for my own reference, but to allow my friends and family around the world to see what I have been up to, and the amazing things that Planet Earth has to offer us.
Some of the photography on this website is absolutely breathtaking, and I'm so excited that I have an opportunity to read/see other people's experiences, as well as share my own. The forums can be a very helpful place for discussion, and travelblog.org is very user-friendly in general. I've never needed any other type of travel blogging service!
Thanks travelblog.org, for making travel, and the sharing of life as we know it, so fantastic!

Reply to this I have to say that I was reluctant to start a travel blog...too much work...who would read it?....just laziness I suppose! Well I now have to admit that it's the best thing we could have done. Not only am I amazed at the number of people who read our blog....but who told me they couldn't wait to read the next installment! So I am very happy to have found this site because it gave a lot of our friends and family a chance to 'travel' with us and now we have something to print out that is so cool for us to read, now that we are home, to refresh our own memories. This site is really amazing ....so thorough and practical and informative not only to the bloggers but to future bloggers and their readers.
Reply to this I started my travel blog as I was about to embark on my first solo trip. It was a great way to have my friends and family feel like they were travelling right along with me. As I embark on my 8th solo trip the group that is "travelling right along with me" has grown. I've also received so many warm comments from fellow bloggers who have enjoyed my personal travel stories and I on the other hand have enjoyed reading some of their own adventures. Travelblog also helped me realize a dream of mine of having something I had written published. It was through Travelblog that I was approached by an independent publisher to contribute essays to a compilation book about Thailand. So thank you Travelblog!!
Reply to this Where would I be without my travelblog? It makes any trip SO much more exciting and I get to relive the wonderful moments again and again. From adding entries and photos to asking advice, this site is easy and intuitive. Thanks guys it's awesome!
