Hello Prasaath 😊

I was chatting with a Malaysian guy on the internet, who has never seen real snow. He has only seen snow at snow world in Malaysia, where they manufacture it with a fake method. It is probably the same for you.

Maybe you could make your Swiss mission to go to the Swiss mountains, experience snow, and maybe learn to ski. There should still be plenty of snow in the Swiss mountains in February.

It will be cold at that time of the year, though, so be sure to have propper ski wear, to wear not just when you are skiing. Since you are probably not used to the cold, you would need these clothes to go outside at all.

Hi Prasaath,

Welcome to TravelBlog.

I was in Switzerland in January this year. Zurich is nice, but you wouldn't need much time to look around.

Lucerne is really pretty, especially around the lake area. We didn't find it too cold, but had been in Austria for a couple of weeks.

Interlaken is great too, but in winter it obviously is more geared up for snow sports.

Wherever you go in Switzerland, make sure you try the chocolate :-P

Zermatt and the matterhorn is a must!
Hard at Work - Zermatt
the mountain is one of the most famous in the world and if you have heard of toblerone chocolate you can see where it comes from! Reply to this

Switzerland is one of the most expensive countries in Europe, but how expensive it actually will for you will depend on what you do, and what type of accomodation you stay in.

You could Google 'Holiday Packages in Switzerland' and check out the prices. But, most of us here on TravelBlog would not be using these expensive packages, when we visit Switzerland. We stay in more budget type accomodation, such as hostels for backpackers.

No, but I am nearby. I am in the South of Germany.

Another popular thing for tourists to do is to rent an appartment in the mountains. I don't know if this is more or less expensive than staying in a hotel package holiday or now. You could check it out with a Google search too. Reply to this
