After My Singapore Magical Dream journey... next will be South Korea...

The date hasn't been fixed yet..., but as per my friend suggestion Fall season will be good time for visiting Korea, because the whether is warm, not too cold and not too hot... so it will be around October or November...
I plan to visit Seoul for 4 day, Daejeon for 3 days, Gongju for 2 days, Busan for 3 days...but its still rough plan for 2 weeks in Korea... So, anyone who love to join me, lets fix the plan!!!! And for any korean who willing to show me the beauty of your country there, i really appreciate...

Cheers....

Hi Tita puu~

I won't be in Korea at that time, but I thought I would recommend Seoraksan (Seorak Mountain) in Gangwon-do, Sokcho-si. It's not on your itinerary, but it's one of the #1 locations by locals around that time, esp the last 2 wks of October. I went last year, and the temples, leaves, and overall scenery were a sight to behold. The people are very friendly and there's plenty of delicious food. Just make sure you're prepared for cold weather! Feel free to drop me any questions. ^^

Well, it depends on what you're looking for, but off the top of my head...
    Seoul
  • Hongdae (young people, lots of stores, artsy stuff, fun cafes, street performers, clubs, bars)
  • Myungdong or Dongdaemun (cheap, unlimited shopping)
  • One of the famous palaces (easily googled. I have yet to go, but all the photos my friends have taken are beautiful) Watch the show "Jump" - Korean slap-stick comedy + martial arts (very unique) Daejeon (I'm not the biggest fan despite having extended family here, but I'll post a blog soon if you want to see photos)
  • Traditional food. If you do some research you can find some delicious food that is more authentically traditionalal and accessible than, say, Seoul.
  • Daejeon Nat'l Cemetary was the most fascinating location for me here. The cemetary and memorial were sobering yet beautiful, from the statues to the street names.
  • The Expo is still a popular destination, but I haven't been in probably over a decade. Busan
  • I'm on my way this wknd, so I'll post afterward. But, the main spot is Haeundae Beach. My friend and I plan on doing a trek at the Geumjeong Fortress and there is the famous Hur Shim Chung Spa

If you want more help with your itinerary, I recommend going to The Korea Tourism Organization Website because they provide a lot of helpful information. ^^ Reply to this

No problem, glad to be of help. Feel free to message me if you have any questions when you are here. I'll put up a few more details about Korea and be traveling a little more as I get time off from work, so if you like, you can subscribe to my page and get updates (haha, not trying to "sell" my page, it would just be easier for you to get an email updates on Korea, and you can unsubscribe when I leave here ^^)

Enjoy your travels! Reply to this
