I have a portable Phillips brand therapy light that claims (well, the box insert does) it helps you adjust to different time zones and avoid jet lag. I've never had a big problem going to Europe, but always get hit coming back. Tips, dear readers?

Reply to this A South Australian researcher Prof Leon Lack took out a patent on some spectacles that contained LED lights, the idea was that you wore these on planes or wherever to help you adjust your sleep pattern. On the website they had a calculator, you entered your departure port and time along with arrival port and time, there might have been some other information to be entered as well. Anyway it came back with the time and duration that you should wear these therapy spectacles to adjust to the destination time. It all seemed like the best thing since sliced bread. About a couple of years ago I entered my name and e-mail address on their website. The products were due to be marketed soon but I haven't seen or heard anything since. The following url is all that I can find now:

Reply to this I've just heard back from the firm that will be marketing these LED spectacles, they expect to have them ready for sale in about six months, when I hear something I'll make a post on here.
Reply to this the best remedy: drink until you pass out on the plane.
