Hey wanted to ask people who have travelled before about money. I'm going to America and Canada in April for 3 and half months and have saved just over £6000 is this enough?

This will depend on your style of travel (where you plan to stay, how you plan to get around, what you plan to do) but that will give you roughly $10,000 US which you can easily plan a good itinerary with.

If you plan on staying in hotels, you can get better rates if you stay at "long term" or "extended stay" properties which allow you to rent by the week. These also tend to have kitchen facilities so you can cook your own meals if you like. You can also save by using public transportation rather than renting a car. Hotel and transportation costs tend to be the two biggest expenses in N. America. Reply to this

i think that i plenty, but like they said above it depends on how you travel... just keep track of your money and maybe you might need to travel a little more frugal at some point Reply to this
