I'm here to find out what you guys think of Norway? Have you been there before, and what's your opinion about Norway as a destination?
Is there something I should be prepared for, before I travel to Norway and live there for a couple of months?
Id say if you are going to live there, learn Norweigen if you dont already speak it.
Also, it is a good thing if you know a bit about taxes, renting, work contracts... These things can cause quite a lot of confusion to those living and/or working in a foreign country they have not lived in before.
Reply to this Thanks Mell, I've been trying to learn Norwegian from the Internet, hoping I can understand the language even if not speak it fluently.
I am already aware about the living and working conditions - its all there on the net too plus I am getting regular inputs from my boyfriend.
Just want to prepare myself for good-bad-and-ugly before I actually land there and this certainly helps!

Reply to this Hi, Tiny!
I would like to bring my minimal personal contribution to this topic, as I am interested in anything related to travelling, healthy and safe environments and beauty of nature. To my mind, Norway perfectly suits these criteria, although I have not been there yet. However, I did some research on it... I noticed though that Norway has paid little or no attention on emphasizing its features that make it a unique country and a place worth spending your money for. Basically, Norway is associated with the fjords, cold winters, endless forests, and high prices and less with the safe and clean environment, qualitative services, great balance between modernity and nature. At least that's what I think of.
Thanks!
