Hello
I will be in Lisbon at the end of February and I would like to rent a bike to get around. Does anyone know of a good bike rental company in Lisbon? Is it a good city to get around by bike?
Also does a anyone have suggestions for good restaurants but not so expensive ones?
Thanks

I assume you mean a bicycle and not a motorbike? Lisbon is a city with hills, which can be quite steep. The tourist attractions are easily reachable by foot although some walks can be quite steep. You could catch the tram, which is a nice way to get around and the metro system is good too. I have never seen a bike rental company there whilst I was living in Lisbon and I don't think it's a good city for cycling - there are no bicycle lanes etc. To get sites that are further away such as Belem and the Parque de Naçoes, you would have to cycle along big streets, which would not be very nice.
There are many good and cheap restaurants in Bairro Alto and the Alfama - I can't remember any names. One place that I really liked is on the other side of the Tejo, where you have stunning views. You have to take the ferry to Cacilhas and then walk down the quay, which does not seem very safe but at the end are a couple of restaurants. Not sure about the views in February as it will be too cold to sit outside...
Cheers
