information on a good and reasonably priced B&B in Kilkenny to venture from to take photographs in the nearby villages, towns and landscape.

I am a middle aged lady and I will be traveling to London from Australia mid Sept till 6th Oct 2010.

As I am am an enthusiastic photographer I am looking to travel to Ireland for about a week.
Kilkenny has come to my attention as a photographic mecca

My thoughts is to stay in B & Bs in Kilkenny for a week and venture out on early daily trips to take photos. Would like to be able to access photo opportunities as easily as possible either by walking or public transport.

1. I would be grateful for recommendations of a good and reasonably priced B & B that is near the centre of Killenny. As I will be on my own I would be grateful for a B & B that is helpful.

2. Names of Villages/towns near Kilenny that at best is in walking distance or easy to travel to

3. Areas for Landscape photography in the above vicinity.

4. Best and quickest method to travel from Dublin to Kilkenny.

5. Recommendations of places to eat at reasonable cost

6. Is Feb too early to book for the B &B for September?

looking forward to hearing from you all

regards

Hi Susie, I'm afraid I can't give you any recommendations for accommodation but there are so many websites out there that have B&Bs etc on them, try something like http://www.kilkenny-bnb.com/ - they have a lot and I'm sure you'll be able to find something, many booking websites have reviews on them as well so I'd check them out too. A guidebook would give you a good idea of places to eat, and transportation. Happy snapping! Reply to this
