Do you have photos with national flag and/or signs in them, that indicate where the photo was taken?
Mell---every time I enter a new country I try to start my photos with a sign or building name that shows the name of the country and I also do that for cities and town I enter. I have a few time photographed my money. My problem is that I often forget and have taken a hundred photos before I finally remember I have not identified the area. Last year we spent 45 days in South America and took perhaps 3 or 4 thousand photos. I really had a time trying to remember where I have been and the identification of what it was in certain photos.Later this year we are headed for Italy, Greece, Turkey, Spain, etc. to catch those places we missed in previous visits and I plan to do a better job and will include the money.
Reply to this That sounds great, Texaswillie 😊
Also, a thread to collect photos of signs at borders and airports that have the name of the place being entered on them might be an interesting one. It was inspired by your comment in msg 2. 😊 You can start it if you want, since you have photos to put in it. Otherwise, I will start it soon. 😊
Reply to this Mell---how about you start. I am leaving in a few minutes for the week end and may or may not have a computer. I'll catch up later and add anything I can locate.

This is a photo i took in Banff, Alberta, Canada.
I like taking photos of flags, i love the different designs and the colours. Understanding what they mean is also a part of the flag.
Reply to this That picture is taken above Banff on top of Sulphur mountain. You take a gondola ride up and these little flags point in the direction of the town or country with the distance. This photo happens to say Canberra, Australia is 13, 312 km away and Vancouver is 578km away.
