Going to california with my brother and mother because of my mothers 50th birthday. Need suggestions

Going there from the 22nd of december untill the 9th of january.

Think we will start in arizona and go from there to san francisco and around pebble beach(monterey), LA and end up in San Diego.

Should we book hotels in advance, what should we see. Where should we be having christmas and where should be be new years eve.

Thanks in advance

Try using this cool website my cousin told me about: tripcart.com

They have so many cool activities like FREE factory tours to botanical gardens! I'd really check out their site!

Joshua tree national park in California is worth a drive through (though you do have to pay for park admission). If you're around Las Vegas there is the Valley of Fire state park which has gorgeous sandstone cliffs and formations as well as numerous petroglyphs worth checking out.

If you're around San Francisco, the Napa Valley vineyards are worth checking out. You're going out of season but I'm sure there are plenty of tastings to be had. Reply to this

While in Arizona, you can visit Antelope Canyon which is in the northeast part of the state. It's near the town of Page and it's absolutely beautiful. You can check this site out for more info: www.the-grand-canyon-info.com
