Free Wi-Fi in Bali?

Any locations offer free wi-fi internet access?

I will be in Bali for almost a month, staying in Sanur and Ubud. I will have my netbook with me. Are there any places where I can access free wi-fi? Or, if not free, at least reasonably priced?

Thanks for any suggestions.

When I was in Ubud two years ago, there were are a number of places advertising free wifi (just look out for the signs) though it was by no means fast. The most popular was Dragonfly cafe, which attracted a lot of laptop-wielding expats. Can't remember the address but it's on the road that runs along the north side of the sports pitches in the centre of town. There are also Internet cafes where you'll have to pay for the privilege, but I didn't use any of them so can't really comment. Reply to this

The wifi has now got better and faster through out the whole of Bali. Look out for the signs offering free wifi and just buy a drink and work away. Reply to this
