Are there night buses?

I would like to travel overnight from Arequipa to Puni in late April. Does anyone know if there are night buses that do this? Can you reccomend a company? Everything I've read from my guide books says that this service is not available on most touristy type buses. Are there local buses I can take? Any idea of the schedule? Thanks! Reply to this

I think we took a day bus, but I can't remember why! I seem to remember the bus company was Flores or Floria and they were fine.

Puno is a bit of a dump, though, and the reed islands very, very touristy/fake we wished we had planned ahead and skipped straight through to Copacabana in Bolivia - the last bus to Copacabana goes at 2:30pm. Reply to this

We also took this route.
We used Flores as the bus company.
I agree with pervious comments that the floating islands are very turistic and commercialized experience, yet we enjoyed it. After all, we are tourists... Reply to this

There are enough night buses, I didn´t take one from Puno to Arequipa but I did from Cusco to Puno and from Cusco to Arequipa! I remember that I used Tour Peru, which was a really good one! Reply to this
