Hi all,

My round the world trip will be starting in January 2010, and I'm looking for anyone who is planning a similar trip to travel together. I'm an easy going guy and a keen traveller who love to meet new people.

My rough Itinerary at a glance:

Leaving Melbourne on 11th January 2010, heading to South America first, Argentina; Brazil; Peru etc. Will be doing the Inca Trail; Rio Carnival; Amazon rainforest, Easter Island etc. Mexico is next stop and then head up to the US and Canada for around a month and half, Europe is next but haven't planned out that far ahead which countries to visit, but will be heading to South Africa for the world cup. Hopefully can do some safari or domestic travelling in Africa. At the moment. the whole trip is about 7-8 months but the exact timeline will be decided as the trip going along.

Here is a little bit about myself, I've been working in the last few years and always thinking to do a round the world trip by myself, love adventures and new challenges, reckon the world should have more to offer in life than just working like a robot day in day out, time to find out the meaning of life before it's too late, so a round the world trip would be my perfect remedy, to expand my horizon and see the world from different perspective and angle. Also looking forward to do some volunteer work overseas if possible. Normally I travel by myself but would love to have a travel Companions for a big trip like this, or anyone may be interested to meet up or happen to be around in the same area at the similar time frame, please drop me a line. Hopefully will see some of you next year.

Cheers

Best wishes Beavis! I just finished my first month of my tour and I'm in Europe now. Leave at the end of January for Egypt, then New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam, China and then back home (States) in May. We're going opposite ways- but here's hoping you have a great time! - Amanda Reply to this

have you been to canada before? or do you know anyone from around there? what parts were you planning on visiting? i can say you can never go wrong with the rockies.
i live in alberta and dream of traveling the world myself. unfortunately, what holds me back is money. it's too bad it has to be that way.
if need be, i'll see if there are any tips i can give you. plus i'd love to hear the stories you will have collected up to then.

have a great time, K. hope you find amazing adventure
