Straightning the horizon

Is there any way?

I am not much of a techie. Is there any basic technique to straighten the horizon. Of course, I do take all care possible whilst shooting... yet the edges take a small curve. Reply to this

Hi Prakash -

You could be capturing the curvature of the earth. Depends on the shot, but if you're taking a photo of the horizon from a mountain, for instance, there wouldn't be much way around it. Perhaps you could post an example of what you're referring to?

Hi Stephaine & Andras,

That's exactly right. I am told there's a software that straightens the horizon at a click of a button. Of course, this is done on the comp after the picture has been taken. Was wanting to know more about it.
