Hello all,

Can someone please help me regarding accommodation in France for families. I have a wife and 3 kids ages 3, 6 & 12 and we are travelling with another family, 2 adults & 2 kids ages 2 and 5.
Initially we are going to Brugge for a week before driving down to France and taking the kids to disneyland. We will have approximately 6/7 nights in France and would like to take the kids to Disneyland, take in the sights of Paris itself and maybe a wine region tour for the ladies. Driving down from Brugge can anyone suggest a area/region or accommodation that would be suitable for us. Having kids we do not want to be moving around and would like to stay in the one place for the duration at a location where we are not too far from Disneyland and Paris etc.

Thanking you in advance

Hi Fevola

My partner and I took my niece to Disneyland Paris a couple of years ago, she was 4 at the time, and we stayed in Central Paris (Hotel Campinile), which was right opposite a metro station - where we just hopped on a train and it took about 40 minutes to get to the Disney station.

I liked doing it this way as we got to take her round to all the other interesting places in Paris and we were only a short train trip away from the Disney park!

I have also stayed in the Cheyenne Disney Hotel, which is a bit further out in the Disney resort so is cheaper from here you can either walk to the main park entrance or there is transport that will take you.

Other times we have been to Paris, whilst not visiting Disney, we have stayed in Montmatre which is lovely, and in the Hilton in the business district (La Defense) which was also good although a little further out. But the metro is brilliant and so quick and easy to get around on, even with kids!!

Have fun!!
