My friend and I have about a week to explore Patagonia. Any suggestions on where to do some awesome backpacking?
My friend and I are planning on taking about a week and a half to be in Argentina/Chile. We will probably be flying into Buenos Aires in early-mid February. We'd like to spend a few days in the city and then hit the road to awesome Patagonian backcountry. We'd like to do things without a guide. 3-5 day treks would be ideal. It would be great to see a few different areas of Patagonia but we are worried about transportation and timing the trip appropriately. (don't want to miss the plane home!)
thanks!
Reply to this Puerto Madryn ,Ushuaia ,Calafate/Moreno Glacier ,Baraloche. It will be a busy week but possible to do.
Reply to this If you want to do something properly and don't want to spend all your time on a bus or plane you'll need to think about doing just a couple of things. I would definitely put hiking the "W" in the Torres del Paine and visiting the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares on my list.
Reply to this Do not miss the Moreno glacier. El Chalten has excellent trekking too.
Reply to this See you have to first plane the things like how much time you gone spend on one spot
the reason why when their are so many good spots and you have to a decision that
how much to wait and see ........!
You will not miss the transportation if you did this and at the same time you have
to carry the time shit so that you will come to know when you will get the
transportation....!
Thanks
