one suggestion: if anyone in your family is military, you can get great deals for military family members, no matter whether you´re visiting them (means: they don´t have to stationed in Germany) or whether they´re flying with you, it doesn´t matter. If that´s the case, try www.satotravel.com or google sato travel to find out their 0800 reservation centre number. Also, they sometimes have good deals for "regular" travellers (speaking "non-military"), also youth tarifs, and compare all airlines given the approx. dates can be told by you.
