central and south america

Hi there,

I plan on travelling to central america into south america or the other way around, I plan on leaving in the next few weeks. I have a flight which I just need to pull the date forward to san francisco from london and then plan to fly from san francisco into somewhere in central or south america and start my travel from there. Learning spanish at the moment myself, very basic spanish. Plan is just to arrive, rock up in a hostel and see what happens, travel to where I feel like going. I'm heading to Argentina in a few weeks and plan to make my way through SA over 4 months. I'm planning to spend a few weeks in Buenos Aires at the university working on my spanish before I head off to explore. A must for my trip includes seeing some local food production from time to time (farms, ranches etc.), and exploring the beer brewing and drinking culture.
