We are planning a camping trip to the park. But I can't seem to find out if there are any burn restrictions. I don't want to show up and not be able to build a fire and not be ready for it. Reply to this

All of the campgrounds we have been to there allow fires and have wood for sale. We stayed in Mammoth campground most of our time there and had a nice big fire every night. We had some rangers stop by, which we thought was because our fire was too big, but it turns out they just wanted to warm up. Reply to this

Plan to get a blog up on the park trip asap. In the mean time - let me know if you are going. There are closures and major road construction going on and I can fill you in. Reply to this
