Canon G9 lenses

Hi all,

Thanks for reading and hopefully helping me with this question. I have a Canon G9, I was going to buy the G10 but they took off the time lapse feature so I bought the G9. My question is I am going travelling and have this G9 and another slim, smaller point and shoot canon. I wanted to know if anyone has bought any additional lens' for the G9 for better scenary shots, like the wide conversion lens? and/or the Tele conversion lens? Do you think it was worth buying them, are they bulky? Any help would be great, thank you! Reply to this

As I commented on the other thread:

Most people I know who use the G9 use it as is, e.g. without any additional lens accessories. Some pros I know who use this as a fun backup to a DSLR use a lens grip which allows a user to hold the lens like you would on a DSLR. I found one on the internet here: Lens Grip

My thought is that an additional lens accessory would put more (& cheaper) glass between you and your picture. I have long been told that this is a bad thing and to try to avoid it.

That's my two cents!
